Project's description Situation : the emergency contraception is banned in the Philipines. PIWH aims at conducting a local study in the public channel so as to fight against the prejudices and to show its benefits to the government thus trying to levy the ban.
Number of units donated 10,000 units
Current situation NorLevo has been used in the Philippines by women's clinics of the Women's Health Care Foundation in Metro-Manila and of the Brokenshire Woman Center in Davao City and neighboring cities in Mindanao. Results have been consolidated to inform policy and to develop follow-up action programs among key decision makers to lobby in favor of the registration of EC in the Philippines.
