The program in Senegal has not really started yet. Currently we are in the process of setting up the program with the national coordinator for ASBEF (Senegalese Association for Wellbeing of the Family) programs. The pilot part of the Senegalese program should have approximately 1000 women.
We can however mention a first training session on placing and removal of implants and IUDs carried out by the Nigerian UNFPA and a delegation of 6 doctors and midwives at the CEFOREP Centre (Research and Training Centre for Reproductive Health). We await the feedback from these actions.
