How is the Mona Lisa Program planned for 2008?

• HRA Pharma plans to send a second batch of 2 000 IUD-unites by January 2008.
• The Ministry of Health (National Reproductive Health Services) recognises that the education and training of the medical professionals is of utmost importance and this will have to be kept going.
• It is important that the training aspects will be adapted particularly to fit the local environmental needs, so that education and actual introduction of the IUD's are done in the most optimal ways. HRA's intention is to work closely with the Ministry of Health in Niger to assure this.
• To assure the exemption from fees paid for these contraceptive products; it will be necessary to prepare the stocks carefully and well; such as the sterile gloves, disinfectants and compressions. For this, HRA are looking for partners to aid in this particular need.
